DIRECTIONS:
There is no longer a need to detour around Footville. Route B is open and newly paved. you will VERY LIKELY lose service for the last 30-40 minutes of the drive.
From Chicago:
Take Rte 90 West out of the city towards Rockford
Stay on 90 till Janesville
Take Rte 11 West at Janesville (first exit) follow for 12-13 miles including a LEFT turn at a T-junction -- after the T go about another 6 miles until you see signs for footvile/route B
go right onto route B
Stay on Rte B till a T junction with Route 104 (8-9 miles)
Right onto Rte 104 and go about 2 miles
Left onto Rte 59 and go about 3 miles
Right onto Rte E and go about 3 miles (you’ll see the mobile station on your left. go here for gas and any basic grocery needs). you’ll go over 2 hills and the gate come up quickly so slow down.
The postock entrance is on the right hand side (N7098). There is a ranch style arch marked Post Farm.
